A Whole New Adventure

June 21, 2023 1:00pm-  Seeing that my hair is taking forever to grow, I decided to buy a wig. I wanted it short and close matching to my hair colour. Not cheap. $280 but it fits good. Coming home, Steve had the convertible down and it didn’t blow away. 😆 8:00pm- Went for my head MRI. It is pass my bedtime. 🥱  There was a delay due to an emergency. Didn’t get to bed until 9:30pm 

June 20, 2023 It was my PT’s,, Suzie, last visit today. She came at noon. I bought a bike trainer stand and she guided me to how to progress SLOWLY. 

June 15, 2023 Didn’t get much sleep last night. Found out I have another urinary tract infection. So the doctor will be sending my urine sample to Lifelab to get a culture of what exactly the type of UTI. I will get the results in a couple of days. In the meantime, she gave me an antibiotic Jamp- Fostomycin to clear it up. 

June 13, 2023 12:30pm- My PT, Suzie, watched me do my workout. She was very pleased and now I have to add weights around my ankles. She was happy to see how I am getting stronger. 

June 9. 2023 10:44- Went to see Dr Wasserman  for my checkup.  On our way home. Great news.  He said I am improving and I haven’t lost weight or gain from the last visit . Blood work is perfect. I don’t have to see him until 2 months unless changes. He will take a full body scan before going.  He noticed how much stronger I was.   I go for a brain scan at the end of  this month. For Dr Nguyen. 

June 6, 2023  10:45am- Had an appointment with the Thrombosis centre in Dt Catharine’s. They were running an hour late. After examination, I will continue with blood thinners and get reevaluated in 6 months. 

11:00am-  Good thing Steve made an appt at lifelab. The lines were so long.  Got my bloodwork done so my doctor can get results when we see him next week.  Bloodwork looks good.
